4th of July

My parents took us to the beach!  Yay!!  It was Matthew's first time and Eric's second time since he was Matthew's age.  They both had a blast!!  And they were soooo worn out by the end of the day that we didn't hear a peep from them the rest of the night - and not much the next day either!  We need to live on the beach so we can recreate that exhaustion EVERY day!  The only downside was they were having so much fun, they wouldn't allow me to take pictures.  But here's what I got!

And of course, we had to end the day with some sparklers!  Being the safe, conscientious children they are, they ran away screaming "FIRE!" when the sparklers were lit, but it didn't take long for them to warm up to them!

Ok....I'm about a month late...but still.  You are my little cutie Mattmoo!!!  He loved modeling for me and picked out where he should sit or stand for most of these!  :)  See how he has changed since last year HERE!
