You make me SO proud!

Not because you can sing your ABC's the loudest.

Not because you can write the letter  'E' with perfection.

Not even because you eat all your broccoli without complaining.

You make me proud because you are you!

You don't have to jump the highest,

or kick the ball the farthest.

You don't even have to win the 1st place ribbon.

Whether you fly to the moon

or just around the room;

Whether you save the world,

or just a tiny bird;

Whether you own your own art gallery,

or just the space on my refrigerator,

You make me proud because you are you!
