We had a very exciting December this year! We decided to do Christmas twice this year, since we would be traveling on the 25th to go see my parents and spend Christmas with them. I didn't want to rush our own little Christmas in the morning, only to throw the boys in the van, so we decided to do our Christmas on the 20th - 2 days after Eric's birthday! As we celebrated on the 20th, I enjoyed everything so much that I definitely decided that Christmas should come twice a year. On the 21st, though, I changed my mind. Celebrating early REALLY messed up my sense of time. It would confuse me for a split second when people were frantically getting ready for Christmas or if I head a Christmas song. "But....Christmas is over...." :) It WAS nice to just enjoy the week and watch the boys play with their new treasures, free from all the stress of preparation!
I didn't get as many pictures as I would have liked, because I had to help Matthew open all of his gifts. So I don't have any pictures of them opening presents. :( But here is what Christmas looked like at our house!
